MinterEllison is one of Australia's largest law firms, with nearly 200 years of business history. We're known for our legal and consulting expertise - and for our inclusive and authentic character.

Our purpose is to create sustainable value with our clients, people and communities. That means we have a proud history of providing excellence to clients, nurturing our people and giving back to the communities in which we live and work.

We value excellence, curiosity and collaboration. Clients rely on us for our responsive, commercial approach. Our clients include government departments and agencies, private and publicly listed companies, and small and large businesses in Australia and overseas.

Our Transactional Funds Management Team operates within the broader national Capital Markets &
Corporate business line. The Team is renowned for its deep industry knowledge and the long term relationships forged with clients. The practice, led by partners Stuart Johnson, Michael Lawson and Ker Wei Tiam is consistently ranked in Chambers Global/APAC.

The Team has a tier 1 client base which includes leading global fund managers, Australian and international real estate investment groups, local and international pension funds and institutional investors, boutique investment houses and other sophisticated local and international investors. The Team has worked on some of the most innovative fund structures and transactions with managers of third party pools of capital.

We have an opportunity for experienced Associates or Senior Associates to join the team. You will enjoy fund transactional, fund establishment, fund management and advisory work in the PE/VC, financial services, real estate and infrastructure sectors. The practice assists clients in their raising of capital, the ongoing operation of their funds and mandates, and the deployment of capital - often working closely with other specialist teams across the Firm. Advisory work may involve assisting clients in relation to the Corporations Act, Australian financial services licence compliance and the ASX rules as part of practice.

Our national model means you will work collaboratively with a team of experienced and supportive professionals across our network of offices across the country.
