Scope &
Overall Purpose of the Job
This role is responsible for managing all aspects associated with handling Same Day jobs, including quotes, bookings, the end-to-end operational process, and customer updates. It’s critical to maintain a strong focus on service excellence and provide customers with a consistently positive experience. Additionally, this role involves building positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate service excellence and drive growth.
Primary Duties &
Responsibilities
Customer and Colleague Engagement
Always engage with customers and colleagues in a positive and professional manner.
Ensure timely responses to calls, enquiries, and emails to enhance the customer experience.
Notify customers of any issues or delays as quickly as possible.
Collaboration and Teamwork
Work closely with colleagues, drivers, suppliers, and other teams/departments to meet agreed delivery expectations and drive service excellence.
Actively participate in team meetings and training sessions.
Operational Excellence
Embrace continuous improvement and maintain a focus on operational and service excellence to provide the customer with a consistently positive experience.
Strictly adhere to policies, procedures, and guides (as amended).
Assist with identifying, investigating, and remedying operational and service issues specific to the Same Day service offering.
Resource and Information Management
Use tools, resources, applications, and systems to ensure all necessary information is captured and shared as required.
Assist with other duties as assigned and required.

Health and Safety Compliance
Adhere to all HSE policies, procedures, and guides (as amended).
Ensure the health and safety of yourself, colleagues, customers, and visitors by identifying, escalating, and working with key stakeholders to eliminate or minimize the hazards/risks within your area/depot.
Immediately report any safety-related incidents or hazards to a supervisor/manager.
Stop any unsafe work immediately.

Experience:
Experience in customer service

HSC/VCE or equivalent (preferred)
