The ideal candidate will bring substantial experience from Risk Consulting roles in professional services or internal audit positions tailored to the unique demands of higher education and public sectors. Key Responsibilities
As a pivotal part of the team, you will engage in a wide array of activities aimed at fostering growth and sustainability for their clients:
- Cultivating strong relationships by collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to drive lasting commercial success.
- Steering collaborative teams in risk consulting and internal audit, overseeing internal audit processes, risk assurance, and controls remediation, while effectively conveying insights and recommendations to Audit Committees and senior leadership.
- Guiding and mentoring team members to continuously elevate their skills and deliver exceptional client engagement.
- Collaborating with internal teams and clients to pinpoint business development opportunities that enhance clients' value proposition.
- Being aware of the evolving regulatory environment and industry best practices/legislation.
Skills and Experience

- A proven track record in Risk Consulting or similar roles within a professional services setting, or experience in internal audit focused on higher education and public sectors.
- Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to analyse complex issues and devise effective solutions.
- A collaborative and consultative approach to engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Professional qualifications such as CA or equivalent credentials.
