There is a newly created Reimbursement Lead role to join this global medical device company with an opportunity to take charge of the development and execution of strategies that maximize reimbursement through their extensive portfolio of high-risk medical devices, and surgical and hospital equipment.
The company has set a clear and simple mission to improve healthcare for all and as they move into Robotics and Digital Growth, the priority will be to identify areas of opportunity, set strategies and directions to partner across the business and invest in projects to drive commercial growth.
Guided by your expertise in Reimbursement and Market Access, you will take the lead on developing, planning proactive approaches and executing the initiatives to maximize device commercialization. You will bring your excellent relationship and influencing skills to build strategic relationships with key stakeholders and members of Government departments and support the assessment of Health Economic and Clinical data to drive reimbursement opportunities for new technologies and existing products.
This is a unique opportunity to have a tangible impact on a global company, so ideally, we are looking for you to bring:

  • Solid experience in Reimbursement/Health Economics/Government Affairs/Market Access within pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices or MedTech companies
  • Experience in Protheses Listing or MSAC assessment process, demonstrating success in the analysis and interpretation of government documentation.
  • Extensive experience in successful completion of submissions, negotiations and understanding of the local HTA environment, economic modelling and health outcome assessment
  • Strong understanding of the processes and procedures of the local legal and regulatory requirements and frameworks
  • Thorough understanding of the commercial and government affairs landscape

This role is based in St Leonard and offers flexible work arrangements (1-day office Min).
