Apply your clinical reasoning skills to support people who have sustained a physical and/or psychological injury at work
Taking a more holistic care approach, work within a multidisciplinary team to support the journey from rehab to healing
Ongoing flexible working arrangements – you’ll be equipped to manage your own time
Assistance with CPD requirements
Perform a variety of assessments depending on your area of clinical expertise ie. functional capacity evaluations, worksite, ergonomic or activities of daily living assessments
Liaising with clients, insurers, medical practitioners and employers to achieve outcomes appropriate for all parties
Develop, implement and monitor rehabilitation plans. Your portfolio will include ADF clients where you will work two days per week at Larrakeyah Barracks. Other clients may include those under the Department of Veterans Affairs, Australian Defence Force, Australian Federal Police, AAMI and other Comcare schemes.

What will make you successful:
Current unrestricted registration or membership with the relevant industry body (AHPRA, ESSA, AASW, ASORC/RCAA)
Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Nursing, Social Work, Rehabilitation Counselling or Psychology (prov is sufficient)
Ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams to support the achievement of a common goal
Passion to help people rehabilitate
12 months Occupational Rehabilitation experience is desirable
