Registered Nurses - Cath Lab | Melbourne

Exciting opportunities exist for Registered Nurses with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills to join Cardiac Cath Labs at a private hospital in Melbourne. Multiple permanent full-time and part-time roles are available. Full-time positions are 4 shifts per week (Monday to Friday) with after-hours and weekend on-call duties once competent and comfortable.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
Delivering patient-centered nursing care;
Liaising and working well with the multi-disciplinary team;
Facilitating, supporting, and helping develop an expanding Cath lab service.
Cath Lab training will be provided by an experienced team of friendly, supportive staff.
REQUIREMENTS
Current Registration with AHPRA;
Angiography/ Cardiac Catheter Laboratory experience (preferred);
Post Graduate Diploma in acute care (preferred);
Commitment to Quality Patient Care;
Compliance with ACSQHC National standards;
Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills;
Ability to work well independently and within a team;
Willing to be part of an on-call out-of-hours service (once orientated to the area/hospital);
Excellent communication and customer service skills;
Basic computer skills.
ABOUT THE FACILITY
The hospital, located in Melbourne, is a fully accredited tertiary facility with 295 beds that provides Emergency Services, Intensive Care, and Cardiac Services, including a 24-hour Cardiac Cath Lab and Victoria's only Single-Site Robotic Surgery Program. The hospital has 8 surgical wards with various specialties, including cardiac, general surgery, plastics, colorectal, hepatobiliary, urology, orthopaedics, neurosurgery, and vascular surgery.
