Registered Nurse - Day Surgery | Tamworth

Opportunities have arisen for highly motivated and enthusiastic Registered Nurses to join the Day Surgery team at a private hospital in regional NSW. Permanent full-time/part-time or short-term travel nurse contract roles are available.
ABOUT THE POSITION
Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering safe, researched-based standards of nursing care;
Supervising, directing, and guiding nursing team members;
Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care;
Delivering education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs;
Leading successful quality improvement and safety management project/s to deliver desired outcomes;
Working collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs;
Acting as a role model for Safe Practice.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Current nursing registration with AHPRA;
At least 2 years ofexperience in an acute hospital setting;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required.

REMUNERATION
$34.43 - $48.33 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

The hospital, located in the Tamworth region, is a Medical &
Surgical Hospital with a large Day Surgery Unit adjacent to the 3 operating theatres, a large procedure room, and a High Dependency Unit. The hospital specialises in orthopaedics, general surgery, urology, endoscopy, ophthalmology, gynaecology and rehabilitation.
