An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Registered Nurse keen to become part of the Cardiology Department at a private hospital in Canberra. This position offers a permanent full-time role.
ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
Delivering evidence-based nursing care;
Liaising with the multi-disciplinary team;
Ensuring patient and staff safety;
Supervising, directing, and guiding nursing team members;
Providing educationand support to patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Current registration with AHPRA;
Demonstrated understanding of National Safety and Quality Service Standards;
Ability to manage risk;
Sound knowledge of Registered Nursing standards;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong facilitation and coaching skills.
