Registered Nurse - Anaesthetic/Recovery | Sydney

An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and motivated Registered Nurse with proven clinical experience to join the Operating Theatre team at a private hospital in Sydney. The position is a Monday to Friday role, however, at times, weekend work is available. This role can be full-time or part-time.
ABOUT THE POSITION
As a Registered Nurse, you will join a team of highly motivated individuals with access to state-of-the-art equipment, education support, and professional development opportunities. An Anaesthetics and Recovery Nurse will be pivotal in planning and delivering nursing care to patients and working as part of the perioperative team.
ABOUT THE CANDIDATE
As the successful candidate, you will demonstrate a commitment to quality care and the best patient outcomes, as well as demonstrate the following:
Current registration with APHRA;
Experience working with Anaesthetics or PACU;
At least 2 years ofpost-graduate experience in perioperative nursing;
Demonstrated evidence of integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills, critical thinking, and analysis in their daily practice;
Excellent computer literacy and experience with electronic patient record systems would be an advantage;
Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work within an interdisciplinary team;
Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing workloads within a complex environment;
Strong commitment to providing excellent clinical care and continued professional development;
Demonstrated understanding of the roles and functions of a Perioperative/PACU Nurse;
Participation in the on-call roster may be required pending your skills and experience.
REMUNERATION
$36.62 - $51.43 based on experience level and relevant qualifications + salary packaging + superannuation, exclusive of shift penalties or allowances.

The hospital, located south-east of Sydney, is an acute facility with 7 operating theatres, 2 Catheter Laboratories, a renowned Maternity Unit and Level 2 Intensive Care (ICU) and Coronary Care Units (CCU). The hospital specializes in complex Orthopaedic Trauma, Urology, Colorectal, Plastic, Bariatric, Gynaecology, General and Dental surgical procedures.
