The Location
You will be living in a town situated on the banks of the Murray River, with stunning riverfront views and a picturesque environment. The region is known for its natural beauty, including parks, gardens, and outdoor recreational opportunities. The town is highly regarded for its welcoming and close-knit community. Your Main Duties
You will be working in a 30-bed aged care facility regarded as a welcoming, supportive, home-like environment, known for its beautiful gardens which are well-maintained by the residents! As a Registered Nurse, you will be providing direct care to residents, and your duties will include:
Medication administration
Assisting residents to engage in therapy programs designed by Allied Health Professionals
Assisting residents with activities of daily living
Attending to wound dressings and wound care
Supporting the emotional wellbeing of residents and their families
Working in collaboration with members of the multidisciplinary team including Activity/Lifestyle Support Workers to maximise the functional ability and social interactions of residents
Documenting resident care assessment plan and evaluation in accordance with ACFI documentation requirements
To be eligible for the position, you must have the following:
Current registration with AHPRA, with no restrictions
National Crime Check &
Working with Children'sCheck
Up-to-date immunisation &
serology
Full working rights in Australia
Experience in Aged Care
