Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Leader to work for an established specialist mental health organisation. Reporting to the General Manager (Community &
Residential Services), and part of the Senior Leadership team at Stride, you will be a passionate and supportive leader with a go-getter attitude and have extensive experience in managing service delivery teams within the mental health sector. You will lead your teams to ensure high quality, person centered, and recovery focused services.

Responsibilities include:
-

  • Leadership of service delivery across multiple Residential, NDIS, and Community teams and sites which may change or grow overtime
  • Providing leadership to and working collaboratively with a team of focused, outcome driven and passionate Service Managers
  • Coach and mentor leaders and teams with a focus on development of high performing teams and high-quality consumer outcomes
  • Managing program performance against budget, targets, and consumer outcome performance frameworks
  • Maintaining relationships with stakeholders, funders and partners and building new relationships across the region
  • Working with the business development team to grow and diversify programs by identifying new funding and opportunities that align to the organisation's strategic goals
  • Financial and human resources management including compliance with funding, contracts, reporting, risk, and incident management
  • Ensuring quality and safety compliance with Quality Standards and registration requirements including NDIS registration

Requirements

  • Tertiary level education in a relevant human services discipline, i.E., social work, psychology etc.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role providing management in a multi-site community services environment
  • Experience working with the NDIS and psychosocial supports delivered in the community and/or across residential services
  • Highly developed people management skills and experience supporting staff in performing their duties
  • Strong business acumen, analytic skills and demonstrated ability to deliver against funding requirements and KPIs
  • Ability to contribute to business development opportunities by way of assisting with tender responses
  • Ability to work with health service networks and Primary Health Networks to foster productive partnerships
  • Manage complex external and internal stakeholder relationships
  • Experience in change management and leadership of service delivery teams
  • Excellent communications skills including verbal and written
  • High level of computer literacy
  • Current Driver's license
  • Must be eligible to apply/currently hold a WWCC
  • Must hold/be willing to apply for NDIS worker screening clearance
