What you will be doing !

You will play a pivotal role in driving sales, guaranteeing operational effectiveness, and nurturing a culture of exceptional performance within the designated region. Your responsibilities encompass serving as a brand representative, embodying the brand's core values, and consistently providing an exceptional in-store experience to every customer. As a frontrunner, you will provide guidance, inspiration, and direction to teams, fostering high engagement, optimising sales, and upholding cost-effectiveness and efficiency standards.

Your key accountability areas

  • Visit all stores in your region regularly;
    review sales, KPIs, store standards and opportunities, ensuring productive feedback is provided.
  • Manage all stores' controllable expenses in line with budgets assigned in the P&
    L to achieve profit budgets.
  • Ensure efficient operation of your stores to achieve optimal results in sales targets, KPI's, store presentation, visual merchandising, stock levels, wage control and shrinkage
  • Champion a customer-centric approach, ensuring that every customer receives exceptional service.
  • Generate and analyse reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), translating data insights into actionable strategies.
  • Regularly present updates, recommendations, and performance insights to senior management.
  • Oversee accurate implementation of national promotions, always maintaining high Visual Merchandising (VM) to brand guidelines.
  • Optimise-based rostering in line with the General Retail Award, managing the wage budget
  • Adhering to VM standards, shrinkage action plans &
    inventory control
  • Take ownership of recruiting, onboarding, training and developing top talent.
  • Own the training and induction of all Store Management roles for your region
  • Identify training needs and provide coaching and development opportunities for store teams.

Who are you?

  • 5+ years' experience in a Regional, State or National multi-site role. Preferable in a retail environment
  • Exceptional ability to lead a team.
  • Strong knowledge of the Retail Award and performance management processes.
  • Proven ability to drive sales and build high performing teams.
  • Previous experience in wage management and rostering.
  • Strong knowledge of visual merchandising principals.
  • Highly motivating and influential.
  • High achiever who is driven to succeed.
  • Must thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Ability to be agile and think on your feet.
