We have a unique opportunity to join Toll Group in our Government and Defence business which is responsible for the relocation of Defence &
Corporate clients and their families. Transitions is a stand-alone business which delivers relocations and removal services within Australia and overseas.

The Regional Manager will be based in South Queensland and will work closely with other senior managers to ensure seamless delivery of high-quality services to Defence, Defence Members and other clients and transferees. They will have overall responsibility for the delivery of Removal Services and ensuring high level relationships with key stakeholders e.G., Department of Defence (DoD), Defence Housing Australia (DHA), Defence Families Australia (DFA)and the Defence Member and Family Support Branch (DMFS). This role has responsibility for all human, physical, and financial resources associated with providing Removal Services including the day-to-day performance and management of Providers.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop strong relationships with Providers, establishing mechanisms of review and promote innovative solutions to ensure the successful delivery of contract requirements.
  • Increasing the regional size and capability of our panel of Providers by actively sourcing and guiding prospective furniture and vehicle carrier suppliers through our application process to a successful admission
  • Accountable for the reporting of Provider WHS incidents and safety conversations and initiate programs to drive reporting and addressing Safety incidents and accidents.
  • Ensuring all organisational and statutory regulations in relation to Compliance and Safety are implemented and adhered to by Providers and Toll staff.
  • Management and development of a team of Transitions Consultants
  • Understanding the culture of the key clients and ensuring swift response and resolution of any service delivery issues
  • Reporting to the Management Team on risks and issues with the portfolio and working with other managers to provide insight into potential risks and issues.To be successful in this role you must have outstanding customer service skills and the ability to manage unique situations in an environment that is fast paced and at times can be challenging.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to maintain positive relationships and influence.
  • Expertise as a leader dealing with people management and client relationship management.
  • A demonstrated understanding of contract management framework, and experience in contract management roles
  • Maintain responsibility for achievement of contractual milestones and KPIs.
  • Experience in the assessment and resolution of contractual disputes
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective support and rapport with personnel at all levels.
  • Ability to create business improvements/solutions for customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated high level of written and presentation skills.
  • Valid driving licence
