Retail shopping centre portfolio
Our client is a leading property group that owns and manages a small portfolio of retail shopping centres. They are looking to recruit a property accountant to be based fulltime out of one of their centres in Southwest Sydney. This is a newly created role that has come about due to the accounting function being brought inhouse.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
Maintain all leases on MRI
Process accounts payable &
receivable
Maintainall billing and follow up arrears with tenants
Maintain property budgets and forecasts
Maintain outgoings budgets and monitor actuals against budget
Annual outgoings reconciliations - calculation, tenant recharge, and setting of new outgoings recoveries
Recharge tenants for cost recovery
Daily bank reconciliations
Group GST
To be considered for the role:
Property experience will be advantageous
Experience using MRI will be advantageous
Have either completed or be studying towards your professional Accounting qualification (such as CA/CPA or equivalent)
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Proactive and positive attitude
Well presented
This is a varied role that will see you become an integral part of a small, friendly, inclusive team. You will be working closely with the Centre Manager in a vibrant shopping centre and will be offered a competitive market salary.
