Your main duties will include:

Reporting to the Head of Management Accounting, the primary purpose of this role is to develop, implement and manage effective financial and management reporting, budgeting and forecasting for all of Calvary's capital, IT and ePMO projects.

The position is also responsible for recommending, implementing and maintaining robust internal controls across all projects, including the development of reporting systems, processes and financial policies that support both the integrity of Calvary's financial information and the safeguarding of its assets.

Working closely with National and local finance teams, project managers and heads of function, the Finance Business Partner will be responsible for:

  • Providing strategic financial insights and analysis to support decision-making processes throughout the project lifecycle;
  • Provide effective reporting of all types of capital spend including forecasting to multiple layers of the organisation, including Board, Executive level, Operational teams and Project Managers;
  • Supervising budget controls and ensuring the accuracy of forecasts to maintain financial project viability;
  • Continuously evaluating and enhancing internal control protocols to uphold Calvary's financial asset protection and compliance standards;
  • Acting as a liaison between finance and project teams to facilitate effective communication and alignment of financial objectives

About you

Required

  • Tertiary qualification - Bachelor of Accounting, Commerce or Business
  • Must be a full member of CPA Australia or Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand
  • Substantial experience in project reporting and demonstrated analytical skills
  • Experience preparing and maintaining operating and capital budgets
  • Highly advanced computing and spreadsheet skills, including Excel and Word
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment andability to prioritise and work under minimal supervision
  • A strong commitment to the philosophy and mission of LCMHC and ability to work within and promote the national strategic direction of LCMHC


Desirable

  • Experience using TechOne ERP
  • Experience in the healthcare industry
