Role Description

As an expression of interest, we're looking for a Project Director to oversee a major construction project.
Located in Melbourne, you'll be responsible for overseeing the delivery of a key placemaking cultural project. You'll also:

  • Finalise contractor procurement and selection.
  • Oversee contract management and site superintendency activities.
  • Manage consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare regular reports and updates to our client.

Role Description

As an expression of interest, we're looking for a Project Director to oversee a major construction project.
Located in Melbourne, you'll be responsible for overseeing the delivery of a key placemaking cultural project. You'll also:

  • Finalise contractor procurement and selection.
  • Oversee contract management and site superintendency activities.
  • Manage consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare regular reports and updates to our client.


Candidate Profile
To be successful in this role, you'll need demonstrated experience as a Senior Project Manager or Project Director, with proven examples of outstanding construction management skills.
Experience with civic, cultural and/or heritage projects would be highly advantageous.
You'll also need:

  • A background in Construction, ideally having worked for a Contractor at some point in your career.
  • Experience working in a Client-Side Consultancy at some point in your career.
  • A strong understanding of Government processes and procedures.
  • Demonstrated experience working on at least one major project.
  • Strong communication skills and an ability to build rapport with stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Qualifications in Project Management, Construction management, Architecture, Engineering or related discipline.
