Product Strategy Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Product Strategy Manager in the underground mining sector with Micromine, a well-established WA business.

This role is perfect for someone with a passion for technology and mining, who thrives on coordinating inputs into product roadmaps and preparing product development business cases. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining, planning, and monitoring all key drivers of a product's success. This includes the product's vision, markets, customer segmentation, competitive landscape, profit model and pricing, brand objective and execution capabilities. The role also involves working across various groups as well as clients and relevant industry groups, both locally and internationally.
What you'll do:

As a Product Strategy Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the Micromine Pitram product. You will be responsible for fostering and advancing the product vision by staying informed about global market trends. Your ability to design, document, and model our offerings will be crucial in maintaining our competitive edge. You will work closely with various teams to define product positioning and messaging that resonates with your customers. Your leadership skills will be critical, as you guide Technical Product Managers and Product Analysts in translating product strategies into detailed roadmaps.

• Design, document, and model the offering of products and services within the mining segment of the value chain.
• Define product positioning and messaging in conjunction with relevant stakeholders
• Lead the translation of product strategies into detailed road maps with Technical Product Managers and Product Analysts
• Assist in aligning sales tools to strategy components
• Coordinate Win-Loss analyses to inform the suitability of the current strategy

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Product Strategy Manager role brings a wealth of skills to the table. Your educational background in Mining Engineering or a related discipline, coupled with your deep domain expertise in underground mining, makes you an expert in your field. Ideally, you have a wealth of combined experience across various areas including mining, corporate strategy, pricing, M&
A, and software product management.
With excellent written and verbal communication skills, you can clearly articulate complex ideas and strategies. Your strong leadership and influencing abilities enable you to guide teams and stakeholders towards a shared vision. You have a hands-on approach to problem-solving and possess strong analytical skills.
