Product Lead - Infrastructure

tech will be used to expand on existing infrastructure for a new team. Focus on IoT &

About the role
In this role you will be a Product Lead with a strong background in infrastructure &
IoT technologies. You will play a pivotal role in determining which systems and technologies will help to expand on existing capabilities, within a distribution centre environment. This will involve researching solutions, working with vendors, running proof of concept and validation through testing. To be successful, you will have a strong knowledge and understanding of infrastructure engineering, prior experience with prototyping &
POC and a confident communication style. Previous exposure to IoT technologies will be highly regarded.
This is a permanent full-time position and must be based out of Sydney.

Day to day

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify product backlog. This will include identifying problems, suggesting enhancements and putting together project requirements to innovate the existing infrastructure technologies.
• Identify opportunities for architectural requirements, automation, infrastructure and feasibility of delivering product backlog. You will be focused on enabling the engineering team to develop new product features, but won't be responsible for building the product itself.
• Research different solutions through new and existing 3rd party vendors.
• Work closely with the Product Owner to ensure they understand what is required to deliver engineering solutions. You will work closely with the engineers to ensure everyone is clear on the vision and how to deliver quality solutions.
• Contribute to the planning, execution and review of each sprint. This will require you to prioritise competing opportunities from the customer &
  product owner, alike.
• Articulate the business benefits and rationale behind your decisions, to stakeholders and have the confidence to push back when necessary.
• Elaborate on business objectives with the use of user stories, identifying themes and epics to ensure the successful delivery of product roadmaps
• Assist with the create of cost estimations to ensure fit-for-purpose system testing and user acceptance tests are conducted on all deliverables.
