The Global Engagement and Partnerships Division (GEP) anchors the engagement pillar of the University and works to create international partnerships to drive high quality research and enhance teaching cooperation and provide opportunities for our staff and students to work together to develop solutions to national and global challenges.

The Opportunity

Under the broad direction of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Global), thePro Vice- Chancellor/Director (Global Partnerships)will provide leadership to uplift and advance the University's global engagement aspirations, initiatives, and outcomes. The role leads and oversees the implementation of the University's framework to develop priority partnerships with universities, government agencies, industry bodies and organisations around the world.

In this role, and as a member of the University's Senior Leadership Team, you will:

  • lead the ongoing development, implementation, and evaluation of the University's Global Partnership Framework, including the preparation, management and monitoring of comprehensive regional and partnership strategies and plans.
  • Successfully implement business development plans and initiatives that support the University's global partnership and engagement goals.
  • Identify, nurture, and maintain strategic global partnerships and enhance the University's global reputation.

About You

With a global perspective and an international flavour in your career, you will have:

  • a post-graduate qualification with extensive leadership experience in global engagement the international higher education context.
  • innovative thinking and leadership in the development of global strategic partnerships
  • outstanding skills in creating and maintaining collaborative relationships to build effective partnerships

This position will be located at the Callaghan Campus (Awabakal land).
