THE OPPORTUNITY:

The purpose of this role is to provide dedicated analytical, financial, and commercial support to the Projects function of Pilbara Minerals. This is a permanent full time position based at our West Perth office. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Leading quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting process for Projects and Capital
• Delivering timely and accurate reporting of actuals against forecast and budget
• Supporting development of business plans for projects, including detailed financial models
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional project teams to establish and monitor project budgets, driving accountability and performance
• Translate financial data into meaningful written analysis
• Identification of process gaps and improvements and ability to implement solutions across the organization
• Provide support and assistance to stakeholders on financial, accounting and process related matters, ensuring strong financial governance and discipline
• Delivery of financial and non financial information and strategic insights to senior leadership to inform strategic and commercial business decisions
• Drive cost discipline through comprehensive cost analysis, identifying cost drivers, and continuous monitoring
• Creation and delivery of management and internal reports, including evolution of current state into best practice
• Consolidated Corporate &
  Reporting Support on anneeded basis

ABOUT YOU:

• CA, CPA qualified or international equivalent
• Demonstrated Commercial/FP&
  A/Projects Finance experience in a similar role in a large, fast paced organization
• 6+ years' experience in a similar role
• Self starter with ability to drive projects for continuous improvement
• Strong business partnering skills
• Expertise in financial modelling and analysis techniques, with proficiency in Excel;
  familiarity with financial planning software/tools is desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across departments.
• Interest in external market trends and implications relevant to Pilbara Minerals and the wider mining sector
