Position Profile:

The Workforce Performance and Planning team manages workforce data projects with the objective of improving awareness of critical workforce indicators affecting patient safety and workforce readiness.

To be successful and to achieve this you need to understand our stakeholders strategic requirements and be innovative in taking complex data sources and providing easily interpreted dashboards that highlight workforce activities that allow for future planning

The focus areas of the role include:

  • Data Delivery:
    Working with multiple and complex data sources to be able to extract and model data that provides stakeholders with dashboards that reflect real time, meaningful data on activities including vacancies, overtime, workforce modelling and aged care will help with business planning
  • Advisory:
    Your reporting is integral to helping identify our workforce trends measured against our strategic objectives and then providing analysis on future workforce solutions and possible alternative models (eg FIFO)
  • Project Management:
    ability to manage multiple workforce data projects and prioritise requests, managing resources and stakeholders and influencing decisions while ensuring deadlines are met

While providing the data can be challenging it's also very rewarding as you are a critical part in ensuring patient safety and that we can deliver quality health services across WA now and into the future
