Principal Business Analyst

The Crime and Corruption Commission (CCC) is a statutory body set up to combat and reduce the incidence of major crime and corruption in the public sector in Queensland. Its functions and powers are set out in the Crime and Corruption Act 2001.

About you

The ideal applicant will demonstrate capability in the following requirements:

• Apply problem-solving, analytical and innovation skills to evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, identify process improvements, and lead implementation and testing solutions.
• Gather, validate, interpret business and user requirements and research possible solutions to optimise business, corporate, operational and customer outcomes.
• Document current and future business system and process states.
• Develop key project deliverables including business requirement documents, functional specification documents, process maps, and user stories using appropriate tools and methodologies.
• Elicit, validate, prioritise and document requirements using interviews, workshops, surveys, business process descriptions, and workflow analysis.
• Create and present high-quality reports, submissions, plans and consultative documents on a broad range of complex issues.
• Mentor and share knowledge with other team members to contribute to the maintenance of high-quality deliverables.
