Our client is a highly successful Australian business with current offices interstate. Due to growth and an extensive portfolio of work in Sydney, they are expanding the business into Perth and seeking a talented senior corporate commercial lawyer for a pivotal role in the newly established team.

You will report to the Head of Legal and be part of a high performance and close-knit legal team working in a collaborative and flexible environment.

Responsibilities

• Transaction matters such M&
  A, including the sale and purchase of property
  
• Instructing matters from establishment to scaling to exit strategy
  
• Day-to-day commercial matters including service agreements, commercial contracts, governance, terms and conditions and polices
  
• Intellectual property and
  
• Data and privacy matters
  

The Successful Candidate

• Relevant law degree with strong academics
  
• Hold an unsupervised practising certificate as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of South Australia or the High Court of Australia
  
• Influential and values-led legal professional with at least 5 years' post qualification experience
  
• Experience in commercial law, M&
  A and corporate advisoryfrom a leading law firm
  
• Strong technical legal skills and commercial drafting experience are both essential
  
• A proactive, positive, and energetic approach with a commitment to provide excellent service and develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  
• Strong leadership skills and passionate about being a key member of a high performing team that has a strong focus on customer experience
  
• A desire to support the ongoing expansion of the business through marketing and business development
