The Surgery and Critical Care Service Line is looking for a Nursing Director to join their supportive team at Logan Hospital on a temporary basis.

As the Nursing Director, you will provide contemporary strategic, operational and professional nursing leadership and management for Surgery and Critical Care within an expansive and complex environment. This includes:

• Demonstratng comprehensive knowledge of contemporary nursing theory and practice and innovative models of care;
  linking models with monitoring to ensure best practice and implementing strategies to ensure nurses work to full scope of practice.
• Act as an expert professional resource resolving complex, clinical, governance, operational and ethical challenges.
• Collaborating and engaging with nursing executive, internal and external stakeholders, committees and advisory groups to support operational and strategic functions of Metro South Health.
• Responsibility for the achievement of operational and strategic performance targets, evaluations and outcomes in line with operational plans, service targets and national and state benchmarks.
