As the Quality &
Risk Lead, you will report to our Executive Lead Quality &
Risk and partner with senior leadership and key stakeholders of our high-growth business. You will support the business, providing critical expertise to deliver reporting and education to our growing team of over 400 Disability Support Workers

In this role you will:

  • Analyse information extracted from MLC's Quality Management System (QMS) to triage incidents and investigate them, ensuring the adoption of continuous improvement principles.
  • Investigate and document all incidents reported, including site visits and providing support for better practice incident management reporting to stakeholders.
  • Prepare quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing incident information and trends.
  • Compile reports for monthly Board Reports and quarterly Clinical Governance Committee reports.
  • Educate our growing team to drive QMS adoption and best practice.
  • Maintain and update internal registers for incidents, risks, and audit improvements.
  • Maintain PRODA, DCJ Portal, NDIS Commission, and all Restrictive Panel reporting and monitoring activities current and updated.
  • Train and motivate employees to ensure NDIS Practice Standards are met.

You will bring:

  • We are looking for someone who can work autonomously with a demonstrated ability to consult, liaise, and maintain close working relationships with our ELT and stakeholders.
  • Would suit someone from hospital team Level 2/3 HSE or equivalent from disability or aged care.
  • Strong analytical skills(intermediate excel) and ability to manage data management across multiple NDIS and internal platforms.
  • Relevant NDIS and disability services experience is highly desired
  • Ideally have experience of working in a clinical or healthcare setting
  • A commitment to provide high quality customer service. Resilience and ability to prioritise effectively.
  • Understanding of the NDIS Commission including NDIS Commission portal, reportable incidents, and positive behavior support.
  • An understanding of restrictive practices (RP's) &
    an interest in deepening this knowledge.
  • Training &
    development will be provided.
