With over 30 years of experience, our client is expanding its operations across various logistics verticals, making it an exciting and dynamic place to work.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As the National Sales Manager, you will be at the forefront of our client's growth, leading a team of 9 across Australia and New Zealand. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, your role will be pivotal in generating new business, mentoring, and building the existing team. You will have the opportunity to work with an agile client that is big enough to secure space and rates but small enough to make an instant change to create a structure around new business opportunities.
DUTIES
- Drive sales activity through pipeline development, maintenance and activity
- Manage the Commercial team of 9 across Australia and New Zealand
- Mentor and manage the sales team through personal development and upskilling initiatives as required
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and service providers to ensure rates and service provisions are achievable and competitive
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 10+ years' of hands-on selling freight forwarding in the Australian market
- Previous experience leading a commercial team essential
- Ability to demonstrate a pipeline within the AU/NZ market
- Ambitious to help drive the commercial vision of the business
