About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic admin team leading our approach to the provision of quality care to our patients and health care providers.
The Medico-legal officer is responsible for the efficient release of personal health information for medico-legal purposes in particular litigation, police requests, subpoenas, copies of clinical records, requests for medical reports summary of injuries, Health Care Complaints Commission (HCCC), Coroner's requests and Search warrants.
You will be responsible for obtaining relevant fees and consents/authority where applicable, photocopying and scanning of documents and liaising with internal and external customers and ensuring that patient privacy is maintained as per relevant policies and procedures.
