An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an emerging tertiary health service undergoing rapid expansion in the wonderful geographical environs of Sunshine Coast.

Temporary Full-time position 80 hrs p.F. for up to 6 months

We are looking for an exceptional Psychiatry consultant to lead our Mental Health and Specialised Services, Inpatient Services team as Medical Director for a six (6) month duration.

SCHHS Salary includes:

• Base salary comprising of between
  • $7,827.20 - $9,924.00 p.F.
• Motor vehicle allowance
  • L18 - L24 $21,000 p.A.
  • L25 - L27 $25,500 p.A.
• Clinical Managers Allowance $28,583 p.A.
• Attraction and Retention Allowance up to 50% of base salary
• Professional development allowance $21,500 p.A.

The role of the Medical Director, Mental Health Inpatient Services (Psychiatry) is to provide high quality clinical and non-clinical leadership and direction to benefit the patients accessing the Mental Health services in the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS).

In addition to your clinical and professional expertise, you must have skills in managing people, leadership and sustainable financial decision accountability.
