About the Role

Due to an internal promotion an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Medical Director or Associate Medical Director to lead our high performing Respiratory team. Reporting into the Country Medical Director, this is a critical, strategic, and high-profile role for the business.

In addition to coaching and inspiring the GSK respiratory medical team, you will be accountable for:

  • Developing and executing the Respiratory Medical Strategy for Australia
  • Advising on developments in the respiratory space, including competitor activity
  • Working closely with your commercial counterparts to deliver against plan
  • Represent GSK Australia's interests within GSK globally and regionally
  • Building and developing relationships with external experts in the respiratory field and representing GSK in relevant scientific forums, committees and events
  • Providing medical expertise to support "

    launches for GSK pipeline assets

About you?

To be successful in the role, you will be an experienced and strategic Medical Leader with extensive respiratory expertise and networks.

You'll also demonstrate:

  • Experience in strategic oversight of pre-launch and pipeline assets
  • Deep subject matter expertise and/or experience in respiratory medicine
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience working in a complex, matrix environment.
  • A passion for developing people and building a positive working culture
  • High levels of ethics and integrity putting the patient at the heart of all decisions.
