Mechanical Service Technician

We are looking for a Mechanical Service Technician for a company located in Kalgoorlie, WA 6430. You will be working for a global manufacturer of progressing cavity pumps and pump parts. They have a wide product range suitable for the pumping of fluids within the waste water, chemical, food, beverage, paper, mining, mineral processing, marine, agricultural and oil and gas sectors.

Monday – Friday:
7.30am to 4pm
JOB ROLE:
The Mechanical Service Technician is responsible for the servicing and maintenance of generators and air-conditioning units as well as supporting the Regional Manager and other staff by carrying out daily workshop activites, including attending to afterhours enquiries.
WHAT YOU NEED:
- 3 years experience in mechanical fitting is desirable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic and changeable environment effectively, with minimum supervision
- Valid drivers licence is essential
- Valid forklift license is desirable
- Current Senior First Aid Certificate is desirable
- Good customer relation skills
- Able to travel to remote areas or other Branches when necessary and for required periods
- Good time management and accurate record keeping skills
