- Standard Monday to Friday work times (flexible start and end times) but on the rare occasion where weekend work is required - weekend rate will apply

What you'll do
- S e rvicing vehicle s in line with manufacturer s ' s pecification s and company s tandard s, including carrying out minor rep air s and preventative maintenance check s on fleet vehicle s (e.G. rep lacing fluid s, changing oil/air filter, tyre s, brake s, fitting s ki rack s etc.) including car s, truck s and company fleet.
- Monitor inventory and reque s t the order of new part s from S e rvice Admini s trator A s s e mble mec h a n i c al component s according to s pecification s .
- Perform diagno s tic te s t s to determine functionality problem s .
- Provide a s s i s tance to Trade A s s i s tant when required .
- Complete Rep air Order s and provide breakdown a s s i s tance when nece s s ary
- P rep aring vehicle s for hand back and s ale s .
- Te s ting and general s e rvicing of work s hop equipment for s afety.
- Keeping accurate and on-time job record s and recording s e rvicing hi s tory in applicable s y s tem s
- Conducting work in a s afe manner, complying with Occupational S afety, Health &
Environmental policie s, procedure s and being familiar with emergency evacuation procedure s to eliminate or minimi s e workplace health and s afety ri s k s. Thi s include s the rep orting of all accident s, near accident s and hazard s .
What we're looking for
- Full driv er s ' licen s e (including manual vehicle s )
- Trade qualification in Motor Mec h a n i c s (min. Cert III Light Vehicle Mec h a n i c ) with previou s experience working a s a motor mec h a n i c (working experience within the car rental indu s try would be advantageou s ).
- Experience with both petrol and die s e l motor s
- A cu s tomer-focu s e d, collaborative, and adaptable approach to work each day.
- Ability to manage multiple ta s k s acro s s multiple s ite s with a high level of attention to detail and s trong problem- s olving s kill s .
- Good communication s s kill s (written and verbal) with knowledge of M S Office - Word, Excel and Outlook
- Knowledge of the Occupational Health and S afety legi s lation relevant to the role.
