The Role
The Marketing Programs and Education Lead drives the design,development and implementation of education and marketing programs for YarraValley Water to help customers and our community save water, increase waterliteracy and enhance our reputation.
You'll be leading a small team that will be contributing tosolving long-term problems such as water security, and generating buy-in fromthe business and improving outcomes for our customers. The rolewill also oversee a comprehensive annual calendar of program activity includingpromotional activity, as well as leading the development, implementation andevaluation of the Water Audit and Appliance Efficiency program.
A strategic thinker, you'll design targeted campaigns and programs, drawing outkey insights and translating strategic priorities into marketing activity. Your passionfor identifying new opportunities will enable you to engage with complex topicsand translate them into engaging experiences for a broad range of audiences.
Key functions include;

  • Building and maintainingeffective relationships with key stakeholders internally and within the waterindustry
  • Undertaking data and marketanalysis to identify opportunities
  • Developing an evaluationframework for the teams program of works.

About you
The successful candidate will have a tertiary qualification inMarketing, Communications or Program Management and at least 5 years'experience working in a marketing, communications or programs role.
You will have demonstrated experience creating, designing andimplementing customer-facing marketing programs and projects. You willthrive on the ability to effectively communicate and liaise with all levels of withinand external to the organisation. Your demonstrated leadership experiencewill stand you in good stead with taking this multi-disciplinary teamforward. A motivated self-starter, you will relish a fast pace andworking between competing priorities and working to deadlines and budgets.
With a customer-centric mindset, you'll be results focused,resilient, excellent communicator (particularly written) and able to buildrelationships and influence at all levels.
