We are a proud Western Australian co-operative and as Australia's largest co-operative we are a leader in the Australian grain industry. We have grown from humble roots into one of the world's largest and most efficient grain supply chains, delivering millions of tonnes of quality Western Australian grain into the hands of customers around the world each year.

Our storage and handling system currently receives and exports around 90 per cent of the Western Australian grain harvest and is regarded as one of the best in the world. We in-load via our own in-house design screw conveyor pits, bucket elevators, ground conveyors, trippers, and stackers into multiple storage types. We strive to continually improve our equipment from site feedback, and we have a strong pipeline of work that focuses on out-loading with multiple new rail loading facilities and expansions of our existing receival sites.

About the role

As we continue to integrate our 'Path to 2033' Strategy across the organisation, each division crafts an annual Business Unit Plan. This plan outlines its unique value proposition, the core services it provides, the initiatives that will propel us towards our 2033 targets, and the metrics we'll use to gauge our success.

Supporting the Head of Strategy &
Sustainability your role is to aid in shaping the group's strategy by thoroughly grasping the competitive environment and both local and global markets relevant to CBH's operations. The Manager - Strategy also supports for our Strategic Focus Area priority projects. You will be supporting the development and executing strategy and business-critical projects.

Responsibilities Include:

Have a broad ranging &
deep comprehension of the external environment within CBH's operational scope, with the ability to bring external business concepts and competitive landscape analysis into the organisation

Coach and guide direct reports in providing exceptional service and fostering engagement

Offer commercial support to various departments on critical projects

Serve as a strategic and commercial advisor to CBH staff

Efficiently plan and coordinate the strategy cycle for the business, aligning with other organisational plans such as CBH Network, IT, and Marketing long-term strategies

Facilitate and deliver presentations to the Board, executive team, management, and frontline staff

Consult with and present to frontline staff, senior management, and the Board on significant decisions

About You:

Demonstrated experience leading, mentoring &
developing a high performing team

Post-graduate qualification in Business, Commerce, Engineering or related discipline

8 years' experience in investment banking, professional services, consulting or corporate strategy

Demonstrated ability to assist in the development of long-term strategic plans.

Ability to lead complex projects (mergers and acquisitions, large capital expenditure, productivity programs)

Proficiency in fostering connections with both internal and external stakeholders

Critical analysis skills for value creation opportunities

Knowledge of agriculture commodities and / or supply chain is desirable
