Your Team
Fund Reporting &
Control

The Fund Reporting &
Control team looks after the reporting obligations of all Colonial First State Investments Limited ("
CFSIL"
) managedinvestment schemes and Avanteos Investments Limited ("
AIL"
) Registrable Superannuation Entities (RSE).

Your Responsibilities

  • liaising with and managing auditor expectations and deliverables
  • ensuring management representation letters, board papers are prepared and delivered within set timeframes
  • ensuring the accurate throughput of raw data from the GL/investment system into the financial statements and addressing any reconciliation issues as necessary
  • timely lodging of financial statements, compliance plans, fund annual reviews and other regulatory requirements as necessary
  • being aware of CFSIL managed investment schemes exposure to level 3 securities and ensuring appropriate disclosures are made

Your Capability and Experience

  • At least 3 years Financial Reporting experience and/or Audit experience relating to wealth management products (managed investment schemes preferred)
  • Qualified CA or CPA
  • Strong understanding of Australian Accounting Standards applicable to financial services.
  • Advanced PC literacy particularly with Excel and strong knowledge of investment management systems.
