Maintenance Tradesperson (Mechanical)
A permanent full-time position working hours will be from 7am to 3:
30pm Monday to Friday with a monthly rostered day off

We are seeking a permanent full-time Mechanical Tradesperson to join our team at our Traralgon Plant in the Latrobe Valley. Reporting to the Production Superintendent, this is an excellent opportunity to join a progressive, well respected company which strongly believes in ongoing personal development for its employees.
You will be part of a small maintenance team and as a qualified fitter, you will have good mechanical aptitude, with a willingness for ongoing training and development. You will have good levels of autonomy and enjoy a varied of work including routine and preventative maintenance and attending to plant breakdowns.
Hours of work will be 7am to 3:
30pm Monday to Friday with a monthly rostered day off. Flexibility to work after hours and weekends to assist with plant breakdowns is a requirement of this role.
The successful applicant will have;
A trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter with good mechanical aptitude
Experience with Roller Milling and Kiln equipment as well as basic welding and fabrication skills would be highly regarded but not essential.
Hold a Forklift and EWP license
Hold Rigger or Dogging tickets
Computing experience and use of maintenance management software would be highly regarded
The successful candidate will have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills and a proven commitment to safety leadership.
