Legal Officer

Seeking to recruit a Legal Officer to join our dynamic team at Cable &
Wireless. The candidatewill advise and support the company on various matters, including contracts, compliance, and any related legal affairs. The Legal officer will develop, implement, and review company policies and procedures to ensure they are in accordance with current legislation. Moreover, He/She will safeguard the company reputation by guaranteeing that the company follows law guidelines and give legal advice to employees about all relevant issues. The Legal Officer will conduct law reviews on proposed sector law or other laws affecting the company's operations. The successful candidate will also liaise with external counsel and assist and support on cases filed against the company. The ideal candidate is a team player with excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills and the ability to manage numerous matters and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Qualification and Experience
- Degree in law, Business/Corporate Law, or any related field.
- 2-5 years' experience
- Organisational and Planning skills
- Desktop computer proficiency (Excel/Word)
- Good communication skills (oral, written and presentation)
- Strategic thinking, planning, communication, presentation, negotiation and influencing skills.
- Skilled at multitasking
- Trustworthy and confidential
- Exemplary work ethics
- Valid driving license
- Experience in law in the telecommunications sector.
