Our client, a leading provider of rail infrastructure solutions, is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel with a minimum of 5 years PQE.

As Legal Counsel at our client's company, you will play a vital role in providing legal support and guidance across a range of business operations including contract negotiation, risk assessment, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and support on commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support business decisions and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address legal issues and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
- Manage legal disputes and litigation matters, including working with external counsel as needed.
- Stay updated on legal developments and industry trends affecting major projects.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance legal compliance and risk management.
- Provide training and guidance to internal teams on legal matters and best practices.
- Support corporate transactions and strategic initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions.
- Assist in the review and development of standard contract templates and legal documentation.
- Participate in meetings and negotiations with external stakeholders.
- Advise on intellectual property matters related to rail infrastructure projects.
- Assess and manage legal risks associated with project delivery and operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Law;
current practicing certificate. - Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience gained in-house or in private practice with a focus on major infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of contract law, commercial transactions, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record of managing complex legal matters and delivering practical solutions.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
