About the Role
In this newly created position, you will develop a Learning and Development strategy as part of the HR Strategic plan. You will provide the organisation with systematic processes of researching, selection, organising and presentation of information to increase skills and knowledge. In consultation with the Executive and relevant managers, you will develop a targeted and responsive calendar of development opportunities that offer a range of educational options for staff. We are seeking an experienced Learning and Development Coordinator to work 3 days per week.
Responsibilities
- Identification and evaluation of core training needs across the organisation
- Development of training packages for each identified training need
- Draft and review learning and development policies and procedures
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with preferred Approved Training Providers
- Respond to Government or other initiatives and access aby available funding to provide opportunities for staff
Skills and Requirements
- Registered Nurse Division 1 with experience in aged care, preferably in a residential setting
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or Tertiary Qualifications in Education
- Demonstrated experience in the development and delivery of adult learning packages
- Previous experience with tender applications and proposal documentation
- Advanced technology skills and experienced with LMS management
- Advanced problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- High attention to detail
- Strong time management and ability to prioritise
- Current police check (or willing to obtain)
