The Opportunity
Reporting to the Partner of Family Succession and Trustee Services, this role offers the chance to work with High Net Worth (HNW) and Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) clients on a range of diverse estates and trusts. You will collaborate with a skilled team focused on estate and trust administration services, playing a crucial role in executing the succession plans of some of Australia's most prominent families. This position provides professional growth opportunities through direct involvement in significant and complex financial management matters.
Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive trustee services and legal advice, supporting the Family Succession &
    Trustee Services (FSTS)team in managing cases where Mutual Trust serves as Trustee, Executor, Financial Manager, and Attorney.
  • Provide legal advice in Mutual Trust's capacity as Trustee of Indigenous Trusts.
  • Assist in the administration and management of estate planning and trust operations.
  • Communicate complex information effectively to clients and stakeholders.
  • Resolve client issues efficiently, employing strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proactively support business growth by engaging in and enhancing business development initiatives.

About You
You're a driven professional with:

  • Minimum of 3 years' legal experience with a solid foundation in estate planning, estate and trust administration.
  • Australian legal practitioner with a current practising licence.
  • Degree in accounting or a related field preferred.
  • Client focused, with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding communication skills and the ability to simplify complex scenarios and information for clear and effective understanding.
  • A team player who is highly motived, committed to both personal and professional development.
  • Advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills.
