Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lawyer to join an experienced In-House team. Reporting directly to the Deputy General Counsel, this role will focus on supporting commercial activities across multiple business units and M&
A initiatives. This is an ideal opportunity for an Associate from a private legal practice looking to transition in-house and play a pivotal role in the strategic growth of our firm.

  • Assist in the structuring, negotiation, and execution of merger and acquisition (M&
    A) transactions.
  • Provide legal support for commercial agreements, joint ventures, partnerships, and other corporate transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations affecting corporate activities. This includes supporting compliance and disclosures.
  • Collaborate with external advisors and internal stakeholders to facilitate due diligence processes.
  • Provide research and support for discovery for any disputes or litigation matters which arise.
  • Contribute to the management of corporate governance and policy matters.
  • Offer proactive legal advice on potential risks in business strategies and decisions.
  • Proactively develop relationships with business units to provide consistent and ad-hoc legal support to clients.

The Successful Applicant

  • 4-8 years of qualified experience in corporate and commercial law, specifically with a focus on M&
    A.
  • Prior experience in a private legal practice, with exposure to in-house processes preferred.
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and drafting capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
