We invite you to come and join the team behind the moments that matter! This is a hybrid role with our state-of-the-art Global support centre based here in Cannon Hill, Brisbane.

We have two exciting opportunities for experienced HR Business Partners to join our team. One being an 8-month full time parental leave contract, and the other being a full time permanent position due to business growth. These sought after generalist role will work collaboratively with our team of HR Specialists in Learning &
Development, Talent Acquisition and Payroll. Your partners will be our Retail Leaders, who will seek your expertise in offering specialist advice in coaching and delivering key HR processes and projects.

This is a role with great variety and autonomy and will be responsible for:

  • Creating outstanding experiences for our internal customers by providing timely, effective, people focused solutions to challenges and identifying opportunities to improve our practices
  • Effectively partnering with leadership and other HR functions to ensure your client groups are appropriately resourced to support business objectives
  • Identifying areas of opportunity within your client group, developing and executing strategies to rectify issues
  • Using data and HR metrics effectively to assist with the development of solutions to business challenges and providing regular reporting to your internal clients
  • Developing and conducting training on HR related topics for your client group
  • Proactive involvement in Retention, Talent Management and Succession planning strategies and discussions
  • Conducting investigations and preparing reports in line with company grievance procedures and policies
  • Providing guidance, policy interpretation and support to team members relating to employee relations, HR &
    organizational policiesand procedures

To be successful in these roles you will have

  • 3+ years of experience in a HR Advisory or Business Partner role
  • Bachelor's degree in business or diploma in Human Resources or a related field would be advantageous
  • Strong knowledge of the Fair Work Act, Retail Award and other relevant employment law
  • Proven track record of supporting and coaching leaders in Employee Relations and Industrial Relations.
  • The ability to critically analyse HR data for the purpose of identifying trends and preparing HR plans
  • Strong time management and organisational skills and attention to detail to manage work, competing deadlines and sensitive projects
  • Experience in dealing with large and geographically diverse client base
  • Retail / Hospitality or FMCG experience is desirable but not essential
