  • Permanent Part Time - 30 hours per fortnight
  • Hourly rate range between $29.00 - $31.00, depending on qualifications and experience
  • Salary Packaging (up to $18,500 tax-free) for eligible employees

BaptistCare are seeking part time Home Care Partners for an immediate start in our Wheatbelt area with weekday availability preferred.

Support older people to live a meaningful life by providing care through our values of Trust, Respect, Accountability, Caring and Integrity.

Servicing the following areas:

Toodyay, Northam, York &
surrounding areas.

You must have flexibility from Monday - Friday between the hours of 7 am - 6 pm to fit in with customer needs

About the role:

As a Care Worker you will enable our clients to live their best life, supporting them to live independently at home by helping them with everyday activities like (but not limited to):

  • Domestic duties (cleaning, laundry, cooking, vacuuming, changing bed linen, mopping, and anything in-between)
  • Social support and transport (doctors' appointments, shopping, general community access support, and companionship)
  • Personal care (showering, bathing, meal preparation, toileting, grooming, and medications amongst other support requirements in line with the care plan)
  • Working with each client to continue to do the things they love

What about you:

  • Valid WA Driver's Licence, reliable motor vehicle, and proof of vehicle registration - Essential
  • Willingness to obtain or provide proof of comprehensive car insurance - Essential
  • Experience and/or transferrable skills providing compassionate care to the elderly
  • Current First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain one via Baptistcare at no cost to you
  • Certificate III in Individual Support is desirable but not essential
  • Ability to work different shifts across Monday to Sunday
  • Passionate about Customer Service
  • Ability to pass a National Police Check
  • Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical
