Due to further programs to deliver, this organisation is now looking to appoint a Health and Safety Business Partner to work with a team of specialists to maintain and enhance a safe work environment.
About the role
Reporting into the Health and Safety Manager, you will be responsible for delivery of improved safety practices within your specialised client portfolio. Working closely with the broader Health and Safety team, you will roll out health and safety initiatives to your stakeholders, delivering on safety strategies and action plans. You will be involved in daily operational duties including hazard identification, risk assessments, training, and conducting comprehensive incident investigations. You will work with the team to further develop and maintain and effective safety management system, reviewing standards and procedures for continual improvement. You will lead a high preforming Health and Safety Advisor, providing mentoring and direction. Most importantly, you will be heavily involved in the training and upskilling of leaders throughout the business.
About you
To be successful in this role:

• You will have a relevant qualifications in OHS, coupled with a clearly defined background working in health and safety advisory roles;
  
• You will come from high-risk industry, such as oil and gas, pipelines, hazardous chemicals, or an asset heavy organisation;
  
• You will be a passionate and motivated safety leader, with a curious style and a self starter, with exceptional communication skills at all levels;
  and
• You will have both a strong technical ability, with strength in leading with a humanistic style and genuine care for people.
