Position of Responsibility
Commencing January 2024
Flinders Christian Community College is seeking to appoint a highly capable leader to the position of Head of Students.

This is a new position at the Carrum Downs campus in response to the strong growth in student numbers and ongoing commitment to ensure the highest levels of student engagement and wellbeing are maintained.


Reporting to the Head of Secondary, the Head of Students will lead the Heads of House and Deputy Heads of House to ensure a smooth running of the House system.

Oversight includes pastoral care programs, House activities, maintenance of high standards in the House system, excellent restorative practices, and the holistic development of students in the Secondary School.

The Head of Students will also fill the vacant role of the Head of Cuthbert House and will be the "
First among equals"
of the Heads of Houses with their additional responsibilities.

A generous time allowance is provided to ensure success in the role.
The Head of Students will be a member of the Campus Executive team.
