Overview

The Head of Sales AU/NZ reports to the Chief Executive and is tasked with driving financial growth by setting key priorities for the Elantis ANZ sales team. This involves coordinating and leading regional sales efforts through Elantis Sales Leaders. The role focuses on centralising, monitoring, and aligning sales activities to ensure consistent outcomes, driving revenue growth, and improving efficiency across multiple regions in Australia and New Zealand. Additionally, it strives to maintain strong market engagement and improve the brand profile.

This role is a key position within Elantis, responsible for driving the strategic vision and implementing business and people plans to generate revenue and drive growth in both Australia and New Zealand.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that business operations align with ANZ Executive requirements and set parameters, including compliance with all regulatory and legislative requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies aligned with business objectives, analysing market trends and setting sales targets
  • Lead sales planning activities, focusing on growth channels and optimising results from Strategic Partners
  • Cultivate a high-performance sales culture, motivating and empowering the team to reach their full potential
  • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for the sales team
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners
  • Review and handle rate plans and pricing requests for key client groups
  • Act as the Sales team sponsor for business transformation projects
  • Collaborate with other departments to align sales strategies with overall business objectives
  • Allocate resources and sales efforts strategically across territories
  • Lead tender responses for strategic partnerships
  • Provide regular reports and updates on sales performance and market trends
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the sales organisation

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively connect with others and develop individuals
  • Strong presentation skills and high-level leadership capabilities.
  • Organisational and time management skills to effectively handle multiple responsibilities
  • Customer focused approach with strong negotiation skills
  • Analytical and data-driven problem solver, capable of remaining composed under pressure
  • Experienced sales leader, understanding the balance between driving sales to deliver revenue while ensuring the long-term success of the business
  • Deep understanding and demonstrated expertise within the Financial Services industry
  • Passion and drive, with previous experience in a dynamic, professional sales culture making a significant impact
