Samsung is seeking a highly skilled and experienced B2C Head of Sales to lead the company's Mobile Experience (MX) Sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting objectives, allocating resources, budget management and driving the sales strategy to achieve divisional targets for revenue, units, and margin. You will work closely with the management team to provide strategic direction and ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly.

Role and Responsibilities

Sales Leadership, Strategy &
Planning

  • Oversee staffing, training and performance evaluations for the Sales team to develop and enhance people capability and retention.

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to accommodate achievement of division goals

  • Direct sales forecasting activities and set performance goals

  • Oversee market analysis to determine customer needs and pricing information

  • Oversee the day to day application and management of the budget.

  • Analyse sales statistics to formulate policy and assist customers in promoting sales

  • Deliver sales presentations to key clients in co-ordination with account managers

  • Prepare periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales and areas of proposed expansion

  • In coordination with the Marketing Director, help direct channel development activity.

Relationship &
Business Management

  • Meet with key clients, assisting the team with maintaining relationships, negotiating and closing deals

  • Lead contract negotiations with all operator and distributor partners as required.

  • Oversee relationships with B2C and Enterprise sales and marketing teams with budget requests as well as internal and external procedure/process issues or problems.

  • Co-ordinate liaison with support divisions, i.E. Finance, Sales Support, Credit, Claims, Logistics, HR and Legal on processes, procedures, reporting, ad hoc and ongoing issues.

  • Work with HQ and RHQ on ad hoc requests.

  • Ensure all activities comply with Acts and Regulations as well as adherence to local and global Samsung policies and procedures.

  • Perform other duties as directed from time to time by management.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Extensive B2C sales management experience, leading and motivating a large sales team

  • Preferably, experience in the consumer hardware, consumer mobile or computer hardware industry

  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated budget/P&
    L management experience

  • Strong interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills to be able to influence at all levels

  • Resilience, adaptable and agile - able to work well in a fast-paced dynamic environment and able to navigate changes
