About Client:

For over 30 years our client has imported, exported, manufactured and distributed quality Asian food brands across Australia and New Zealand. Their team is 240-strong, working across six branches and three distribution centres around the world. These are located to best serve our customers, in Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, Western Australia, Tasmania, Newcastle, Cairns, New Zealand and Hong Kong.

Your new role

Reporting directly into the Managing Director and CEO you will manage all mainstream business and be accountable for the companies overall profit and performance across Australia ensuring the most lucrative accounts are built on and new business approached in the most professional and effective manners. with both short and long term objectives in mind you will ensure all of the below

  • Drive Sales by developing strategic direction on a national level to achieve set targets
  • Aggressively develop new business with both existing and new accounts in uncharted segments
  • Be on top of all market trends and aware of competitor product and activities
  • Be an exceptional leader and mentor to the established sales team

What you'll need to succeed

  • 10+ years senior management experience in the FMCG food industry
  • MUST have major retailer experience e.G Coles, Woolworths and CostCo.
  • Various Stakeholder engagemtn at a corporate level aswell as relating to SME's
  • Exceptional business acumen and leadership skills
