This is a brand new role to support our Betting, Product and Data teams where you will have the vision to create and execute a clear Risk &
Compliance strategy.

About The Role

Reporting into the GM Risk &
Compliance (BPD), you will be a key member of a high-profile function and a values driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role offers the opportunity to make a real impact in a growing organisation where you'll ensure our departments have strong control environments, effectively managing risks and compliance obligations. This fosters an environment of trust and transparency for our customers, colleagues, and partners.

As a Line 1 leader, you'll drive Sportsbet's approach to risk and compliance management, controls, and assurance. Your subject matter expertise will be invaluable in guiding control enhancements and mitigating key operational risks. You'll ensure alignment with the proven policies and frameworks of Flutter Entertainment Group, a leading FTSE 100 company.

Responsibilities Include:

• Create a comprehensive risk management strategy that safeguards Sportsbet's customers, assets, processes, and initiatives.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to raise awareness of risks, compliance, and policies within Product &
  Data Science and BPD.
• Design and drive effective strategies to manage compliance and mitigate risks, fostering a culture of responsible growth. You'll also be involved in supporting regulatory engagement and responses when needed.
• Work with Product &
  Data Science to conductthorough risk assessments of new projects and business changes to ensure ensures obligations and key risks are identified and managed within acceptable boundaries.
• Oversee breach &
  incident investigationsand work with SMEs (e.G. Line 2 Risk, Legal) towards resolution and communication.
• Prepare and facilitate risk and compliance reporting to various forums including Product &
  Data Science LT, BPD LT, Sportsbet Risk Leaders, Enterprise Risk Committee (ERC) and where needed, Flutter on risk and compliance matters.
