This leading Australian based healthcare organisation is undergoing a group restructure to enable it to continue its phenomenal growth in an unfettered Start-up style environment, as such it is a great time to join. Offering a flexible work from home (WFH) / work from work environment this Head of Procurement role is a true commercial partner to the business. As such this opportunity gives great scope for the right candidate to create their own function and have a significant impact on the organisation's procurement behaviours.

Reporting into the CFO the role you will be responsible for driving and leading the Australian procurement function. This position will be very varied and will see you develop appropriate business unit category and vendor spend strategies aligning to the group's category strategy;
contribute to negotiations with providers to secure cost savings across the business;
lead procurement evaluations;
develop vendor management processes and reporting and ensure compliance with company procurement policies. Key areas for the role will, therefore, include developing appropriate line category and go-to-market strategies;
developing vendor management processes and reporting against key suppliers;
and establishing operational compliance to group procurement policy and processes. You will also take on P2P responsibilities as well managing 3 staff.

To be successful in this position you will have a minimum of 5 yrs experience in procurement and be ready to take the next step in your career. You will enjoy working in a rapidly growing organisation where you can define your own role and drive procurement projects and strategies. You will have excellent stakeholder management skills and be comfortable negotiating commercial outcomes with key business partners.
