About the Company

Frazer Jones is delighted to be partnering with a global technology firm on a retained basis to hire their Head of People and Culture. Based in Melbourne or Canberra (with frequent travel to the Canberra Head Office), this role leads a team of 9 with a global remit including the UK, Netherlands, USA and Japan, this is a busy role with a mix of strategic and operational HR. They are currently on a transformation journey in modernising HR processes and practices and driving a number of projects to create a platform that delivers a people focused strategy for the future.

About the Role

This a broad role providing guidance and coaching on everything from ER, to OD and employee experience. Building strong relationships with stakeholders will be crucial in developing and influencing people related initiatives and activities closely aligned to short and long term priorities. The main responsibilities include:

  • Lead the People &
    Culture team including talent, WHS, business partnering and projects.
  • Being the trusted advisor to the Board and Executive on all people related matters
  • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the business goals and deliver a commercial, best in class HR function.
  • Collaborate with the P&
    C team and other departments in delivery of key projects around Remuneration &
    Reward, Organisational design and development, Shared Services
  • Identify and manage HR related risk, compliance and regulatory changes
  • Create and implement strategic that drive a high performance culture and retention.
  • Drive diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives

About You

This is a great opportunity for a confident and commercial Head of People and Culture who has proven leadership capability, strong influencing skills at the Exec and Board level and comfortable with ambiguity. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in Automotive, Technology or Engineering sectors is ideal
  • Strong working knowledge and experience in Remuneration &
    Reward, and Org Development and Design.
  • Experience of both operational and strategic HR
  • Strong consulting, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Proven ability to influence and build relationships
  • Expert knowledge of Australian Employment law

This a permanent role paying up $250,000 - $300,000 + super + STI &
LTI. Starting ASAP. Therole is hybrid with an expectation to be in the office 3- 4 days a week.
